Variegated in tan and aqua blue, and accented with gold vermeil, this adjustable choker is stylish and elegant. I was torn about the theme on this necklace; it fit under Urban and Abstract, but the muted tones and generally conservative design meant that it could be worn with most business attire as well. I’ve finally categorized it with the Urban and Abstract, because I wouldn’t wear it to court and it might be a bit daring in the boardroom, but it can really go with almost any outfit, from a suit to a tank top to a cocktail dress.

The beads in this necklace are a manmade composite sold as "aqua terra jasper," which is not a natural stone, though it resembles some natural jaspers. Regardless, it is a truly beautiful piece; the material is naturalistic in its appearance, though not natural. The necklace has a vermeil chain attached to the clasp and is adjustable from approximately 15.5 inches to about 17 inches.

Disclosure: Please note that the display mannequin in the photo is about half-human scale; the necklace has been draped around the back of the mannequin to simulate how the necklace would hang. Like all silk knotted necklaces, care should be taken not to get this necklace wet, and it should be stored flat: silk will stretch over time. Like all of my jewelry, this necklace is not intended for use by persons under 13.
